Client-Side Privacy Guarantee

Your resume file is processed entirely inside your web browser via client-side WebAssembly and JavaScript text extractors. The binary file is never uploaded, saved, or persisted on our servers. Only extracted plaintext is passed to AI parsing providers for structured field mapping.

How the Resume Intelligence Parser Works

Traditional resume parsing services require uploading confidential applicant PDFs directly to third-party cloud buckets. HR Mapper flips this paradigm: our engine runs Mozilla PDF.js and Mammoth inside your browser runtime. Text extraction occurs locally in milliseconds with 0KB of binary file transfer.

1. Local Extraction

PDF text items and Word document streams are parsed natively in JavaScript into clean plaintext.

2. AI Field Mapping

High-reasoning AI parses current titles, employers, skill clouds, certifications, and years of experience into structured JSON.

3. One-Click HR Discovery

Route directly into HR Mapper's Boolean query packs, People Finder, and corporate email permutation generator.

Frequently Asked Questions

What file formats are supported?

We support Adobe PDF (.pdf), Microsoft Word (.docx), and Plain Text (.txt) up to 10MB in size. For legacy .doc files, please re-save as .docx or export to PDF before uploading.

Can it read scanned or photo-based PDF resumes?

Our parser focuses on searchable digital PDFs created via Google Docs, Word, Canva, or LaTeX. If you upload a scanned image PDF, the system will detect the lack of text and advise you to upload a text-based document.

Can I edit the extracted fields if the AI makes an error?

Yes! Every extracted field — including candidate name, current company, skills, and summary — is directly editable inline. You can add or remove skills, correct employer names, and update titles before launching HR searches.
